For anyone who enjoys gardening, this is a must-see event! Dozens of plant and garden vendors will have booths under the Banyan and other historic trees all around the museum and lab. This is an opportunity to shop for hard-to-find plants that grow successfully in Southwest Florida. Food trucks and live music will be on site too, so come out and spend the day shopping for plants! This free event does not include tours of homes or admission to the museum and laboratory.

25th Annual Mount Dora Plant and Garden Fair

Central Florida's top growers bring more than 12,000 plants. The event features orchid growers and includes native plants, butterfly-attracting perennials, herbs, roses, camellias, and begonias with a complete selection of rare and unusual tropical plants. Garden antiques, festive flags and unusual containers are also a focus. Open 9 AM until 5 PM each day. Admission is free.

ROOTSTOCK Plant & Garden Festival returns to Bok Tower Gardens Saturday, October 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The festival features dozens of plant vendors with hundreds of plants for sale, amazing musicians, healthy cuisine and a spectacular display of seasonal foliage. Admission is free and parking is $10 per car, members park free.

Each October, Kanapaha Botanical Gardens holds an Open House & Fall Plant Sale, in conjunction with the Gainesville Orchid Society, inviting visitors to see the facility ADMISSION FREE. Kanapaha Botanical Gardens formally opened to the public in October of 1986 and the Open House is a means of celebrating the garden’s 'birthday.' In addition to viewing the botanical gardens, approximately 50 booths will be set up selling a wide variety of plants. The American Orchid Society will have their annual American Orchid Society's judged show that will coincide with the Fall Plant Sale and will take place inside Kanapaha's entrance building. Pets are not allowed at these festivals.
